What a brilliant way to experience the Eiffel Tower! I had no idea about Gustave Eiffel's original 20-year plan or how Parisians initially called it an eyesore. The narration perfectly timed with walking around the base - especially loved the part about the secret bunker underneath. The audio quality was crystal clear and the storytelling made those 21 minutes fly by. Even my teenage daughter stayed engaged the whole time.

Really enjoyed this tour during my weekend in Paris. The story about how the tower was almost torn down in 1909 was fascinating - never knew it was saved because of radio transmission experiments. Good pacing as you walk around, though I wish there was a bit more about the engineering details. The part where you look up at the iron lattice work while hearing about the riveting process was perfectly synchronized.

Absolutely loved this! Used it on my first day in Paris and it completely changed how I saw the tower. The segment about Eiffel's other projects was eye-opening - had no clue he designed the Statue of Liberty's internal structure. The narrator's voice was so engaging and the historical anecdotes kept me captivated. Perfect length too, not too long but comprehensive.

Decent tour with some interesting historical bits, especially the stories about the 1889 World's Fair. The part about the tower's color changes over the decades was quite cool. However, I felt it could have included more about the modern renovations and current maintenance. Also would have been nice to have some guidance on the best photo spots while walking. Still worth the download since it's free.

Great storytelling! I was amazed by the tale of how writers and artists protested the construction - calling it a 'metal asparagus'. The timing was spot-on when it told me to look at the engraved names of French scientists on the tower sides. My only complaint is that it ended a bit abruptly. Could have used a nice conclusion tying everything together about how the tower became beloved.
